Acceptable Use Policy

What this policy covers

This policy sets the rules for everyone who uses FormaBase: customers of FormaBase products, Creators who build them, and Affiliates who promote them. It applies alongside our Website Terms of Use, each product's terms, and any signed Creator or Affiliate Agreement. If a signed agreement is stricter, the signed agreement applies.

Everyone

Do not use FormaBase or any FormaBase product to:

• break the law, or help anyone else break it

• infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights

• send spam, or unsolicited messages of any kind

• harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone

• upload malware, or attempt to gain access to accounts, systems or data that are not yours

• interfere with, overload or reverse-engineer the platform, except as the law allows

• collect other people's personal information without their permission

Creators

Products built on FormaBase must:

• disclose every external endpoint, package, model, build script and outside service they use

• run every customer charge through the FormaBase checkout

• contain no malware, backdoors, hidden payment flows, credential harvesting, cryptomining or undisclosed data collection

• contain no obfuscated code or hidden dependencies, and never alter review or deployment controls

• keep live customer data and production secrets out of development tools, tests and AI prompts

• avoid regulated advice, sensitive data and high-risk content unless FormaBase has approved them in writing

Affiliates

When promoting FormaBase products, Affiliates must:

• clearly disclose that they may earn a commission

• describe products accurately, using official materials and genuine experience

• never promise results, income or outcomes a product does not guarantee

• never present themselves as FormaBase, its support team or an official partner

• never refer themselves, create fake accounts, or use forced, hidden or incentivized clicks

• not bid on FormaBase or product names in paid search without written approval

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and remove content, suspend or close accounts, withhold disputed amounts as our agreements allow, or take a product offline. Where the law requires it, we may report activity to the authorities.

Reporting

Report abuse to support@formabase.app. Report security issues to security@formabase.app.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed. Changes to the economics or ownership terms of a signed agreement happen only as that agreement allows.
